A Useful Guide: Activities that Foster Youth Emotional Learning

Adjusting to our new, post-pandemic lives has left many families wondering how to bring a little normalcy back to their summer. Without their usual coping mechanisms and routines, many children are feeling new uncertainties as we try to meet their social and emotional needs.

Supporting children and families as they navigate this difficult time. That’s why we created this short guide featuring activities designed in partnership with our Social and Emotional Learning expert.

This guide is intended to empower program directors, teachers, and caregivers as we work to teach ways to make room for feelings, processing current events, and resolving conflict.

Thank you for the important work you’re doing in our communities. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help you provide inclusive recreation opportunities so we can all better serve families around the world.

Have a great start to your summer,

Mike
